I have been teaching at Norwood since 1995 and enjoy sharing my love of reading with my students. As an avid reader of all literature I get excited about sharing books with my students and encouraging them to become lifelong readers and learners. I have a well-stocked, up-to-date classroom library that shows students I'm passionate about books! Teaching at Norwood has allowed me to get to know many of my students and their families more personally than a larger district would. I enjoy visiting with former students and families during various school/community events. It is very gratifying when former students stop by for a visit and end up recommending a book they have just read and they think I might enjoy. When I'm not at Norwood, my husband and I enjoy spending time at our lake house with my family (ask me about my grandchildren) and friends. My hobbies include reading, boating, cooking, shopping, and relaxing with friends. I look forward to many more years at Norwood!

Mrs. Woods

I am very excited to be at Norwood this year!  I graduated from Bradley University and taught middle school in District 150 for the past three years.  I am married and have two dogs.  When I am not teaching, I love cooking, going to see movies, and traveling.l
