At its March meeting, the Board of Education officially approved the district calendar for the upcoming 2026-2027 academic year. You can view the full schedule HERE
While the calendar is officially set, families should be aware of one potential adjustment pending state legislation. There is currently a bill under review in Springfield that would designate the November 2026 election as a mandatory non-attendance day for all schools.
What this means for our schedule:
If the bill passes: We will observe Election Day as a non-attendance day, and the final day of the school year will be pushed back by one day to make up for it.
If the bill fails: The calendar will remain exactly as it is currently approved.
The state is expected to make a final decision on this bill by June. We will keep the community updated as soon as we have official word from Springfield.
