Norwood School District #63 is accepting applications to fill a vacancy. The individual selected will serve on the School Board from the date of appointment to the end of the unexpired term, which ends in April 2023.
Applicants for the Board vacancy must be: a United States citizen, at least 18 years of age, a resident of Illinois and the District for at least one year immediately preceding the appointment, and a registered voter. Applicants must not be a child sex offender, must not hold another incompatible public office, and must not hold certain types of prohibited State or federal employment.
Letters of interest should be addressed to Board President Jim Sanford. Please submit your letter to the District Office by 4:00 pm on Friday, January 21, 2022. The District office is located at 6521 W. Farmington Rd. Peoria, IL 61604.
